Luis Taboáda is a professional architect, he graduated in Uruguay in 1991.
He complemented his main studies with other specializations such as fine arts, landscaping, botany, corporate design and quality process.
He has completed various researches and publications in geometry, colour and rendering techniques. Many of his works were published in specialized publications, such as Young Architects from UruguayÂ, ÂEl Arqa (Uruguay), Summa (Argentina), PIA exhibition 2008, Industrial Architecture Review (RSA).
He is founder of the Faculty of Applied Design in the UDE University and was Dean from 1996 until 2004, creating many careers in fashion design, communication and graphic design.
He was awarded with a Grade 3 professorship in the Architectural Design Workshop in 1995, Faculty of Architecture, after being a teacher at the Design Institute, and assistant teacher in sketching courses since 1982.
At present he lectures on architecture, art, design in different places around the world
He has participated and obtained awards in various competitions including a first prize in 1995 for his own house among the architectural production of previous four years.
In 1983 he founded a company with others that works in design and architecture which is presently ST Architects.
From 1986 to 1994, he worked with Walter Chappe Associates, a well-known and prestigious practice in Uruguay, participating in the design division.
Luis Taboáda is an architect with extensive experience that allows him to focus his skills on creative concept design and architectural composition.
